Koenigsegg Regera Review

The Koenigsegg Regera supercar was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and small-scale production of the car is due to begin in 2016.
The hybrid power plant of the coupe consists of a V8 5.0 gasoline bitrubber engine (1115 l. s.) And three electric motors. The central electric motor serves as a starter-generator and the main driving force at speeds below 50 km / h, while the motors located on the axle shafts control the thrust vector. Electricity is stored in a battery with a capacity of 4.5 kWh.
The car does not have the usual gearbox. Instead, there is a mechanical final drive with a gear ratio of 2.85 and a hydraulic clutch that controls the connection between the gasoline engine and the transmission.
